When Citadel was founded in 1996, our first projects were on military bases. Since that time, we’ve maintained a constant presence at all area bases and most federal facilities in our area (and around the country). We have extensive experience teaming with prime contractors on a variety of contract vehicles, including MATOC’s, JOC’s, SATOC’s, SABRE, and IDIQ’s Our team excels on both design-build and design-bid-build projects and we’re well versed in designing to USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC specifications, and meeting DOE, UFC and FAR requirements.
Our employees have experience working in high security and classified environments and maintain the necessary security clearances and escort privileges to support the needs of our Federal projects.
Citadel has established a reputation for being the preferred electrical contractor on federal projects in the Kansas City region. Citadel has maintained Access Control Points and Secure Entrance Gates at Army bases throughout the United States.
Citadel has installed, repaired, or replaced the site primary power electrical distribution infrastructure at our area military bases. We’ve been involved in major upgrades and have performed the majority of the medium voltage terminations on base.
